BALL REPLACEMENT

Lost Footpool balls will incur a loss of bond as you cannot buy a separate replacement ball as all balls come in a pack of 16.

FAQ

How much room do we need to fit the table?

Our Super 8 tables measure 5.4m x 3m.  You will also need space around the table to accommodate for setup and for spectators. We recommend at least 6m in length x 3.5m width.

How flat or level does the surface need to be?

The flatter your surface, obviously the smoother the game will be. We recommend playing on hard, level surfaces like concrete floor, hard ground, floorboards, synthetic courts for best results. We advise you do a site inspection on the area prior to booking. If the surface is really uneven, and you’re still unsure, you can always send us a picture prior to booking.

Can we move the Super 8 Table once it is setup?

Sorry no. Once our staff have set up the Super 8 table in the designated position it must not be moved under any circumstance. 

How long does it take to set up the Super 8 table & when does hire commence?

Set up time usually takes 30 - 45mins as long as access is clear. Your hire starts from the time that the Super 8 table is setup, checked and ready to use. The set up is done prior to your booked time and the removal is done after booking period has finished, so you don’t loose any hire time.

Can Super 8 Footpool come to a park or public venue?

Yes, given that you have the necessary permissions and the space is nice and flat.

What type of footwear do I need?

Any clean, closed toe, comfortable shoe wear is fine. Just no work boots, high heels or jandals.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Payment:

Full payment is due prior to the start of your event, unless agreed upon prior to your booking.

The Hirer’s Responsibility:

a) The Hirer shall at all times use the hired equipment within the rules supplied by Super 8 Entertainment Ltd and the hired equipment’s limitations, specifications and capabilities intended by the manufacturer of the equipment.

​b) If the hired equipment becomes damaged, breaks down or fails the Hirer shall contact Super 8 Entertainment Ltd immediately by phone. The Hirer must not attempt to repair the equipment themselves.

​c) The hirer is responsible for the cost of any repairs as a result of any negligence or misuse of the equipment.

​d) If the hired equipment fails or breaks down out of negligence or misuse of the equipment by the Hirer, there maybe an extra hire charge. This is due to Super 8 Entertainment potentially losing out on the next hire. This will be under the discretion of Super 8 Entertainment Ltd.

​e) The Hirer shall not use or operate or permit the equipment to be used or operated in a manner or for a purpose for which the equipment was not designed, manufactured or outside the rules provided by Super 8 Entertainment Ltd.

 f)The Hirer shall not use or operate or permit the equipment to be used or operated in a manner which, in the opinion of the Business would be likely to endanger the safety or condition of the equipment or any part thereof or the safety of any person or property.

Cancellation of a booking within 48 hours of the event time will incur the loss of the deposit or full payment. The booking can be postponed if no second booking was lost due to current cancellation.  

Bad Weather: In the event of bad weather and the need to call off or postpone your event you will need to contact us at least 2 hours prior to your delivery time arranged.  If we arrive on site and the decision is made to cancel/postpone due to poor weather, payment will not be refunded.

Age Limit: Our services are available for all ages, though children under 16 years will need to be supervised by an adult. 

Shoes: No dirty shoes or work boots, no jandals no high heels. Bare feet are not recommended for safety.

Closed toe shoes or any other sensible shoes welcome.

Food & Drink: No food or drink to be consumed while playing on the Super 8 table or anywhere on the Super 8 table.

Super 8 Entertainment Ltd has public liability insurance.

Any spills or damage to the table or astroturf will incur loss of bond. Any loss of Super 8 balls will incur a charge TBA (individual balls cannot be replaced, a whole set has to be ordered and freighted internationally).
